No, not the song, well, now it's stuck in my head.....
Anyways, I know I haven't written anything in awhile, not like many people read this. It's more of an outlet.
So, enough of my babbling. I've been going through quite a lot of things these past few weeks. I've realized growing up isn't as easy as it seems.
I'm only 19, soon to be 20, well in 6 months and a week or so, but I'm still growing up.
Kids right now can't wait to get older and be legal to do all that horrible stuff that they think is so cool, like drinking and smoking. Well all I have to say to you is don't run, walk as slow as you can to adulthood. Every kid needs a childhood that they can look back on with fond memories. I have those, but I also had to grow up way too fast.
Now that I'm close to finishing school and starting my career, a lot of things are setting in. That once I'm done with school I will be working until I retire, I'll have bills to pay, etc. It seems exciting yet horrifying at the same time.
I really don't know what the future holds for me, which I think freaks me out the most about growing up. It's like my whole life I knew my future, wake up, go to school, come home, etc., but since I won't need to go to school anymore I don't know what'll come next. Will I like my new job? Will I even get a new job? It's all pretty crazy.
The constants I know will be there for me are my Family, Justin, and my Friends, all of whom I am so thankful for.
I think that's all I have to blog about today my readers. See you all on the flip side.
Oooh, one more thing:
Movie for you to see this week: The Runaways
Music for you to listen to this week: City and Colour
Hello Everyone
So this little blog is an outlet for my many opinions, rants and raves. I hope you enjoy it!

Today
A lot of things happen in daily life that I feel we take for granted. Like the sun shining on your face, or seeing a smiling child with their parents. Now-a-days it's so hard growing up in this world. There is pressure coming at you from every direction.
Some kids are lucky enough, like I was, to have understanding and supportive parents. But a lot of people I know didn't have that.
Girls in this world, at this very moment, are having body issues, mental issues, inadequacy issues. I remember when I was in high school and seeing all of these stick thin models, and how every guy fell over himself for her. I thought that was normal and I was some freak that didn't fit the mold. But that was just some over exaggerated sense of misplacement.
TV and movies can make you feel out of place, ugly, imperfect even. I hate that something that isn't even real can do that to a beautiful young woman. I know now that when I was younger I was perfect in my own way, and I still am, even though my insecurities are very much still around.
I don't know why being a size -0 is so attractive, seeing a woman that is just bones and skin makes me feel sick inside. This world needs a serious reality check if that's how they think people should look.
